Mission Statement

The people of Trinity Church, drawn from the many

sorts and conditions that make up the community of

Greater Torrington, are called together by the Holy Spirit

to seek Christ in communion and to share the vitality of

the Episcopal tradition. Driven by that call, we care for one

another and serve the world.

Trinity is a Jubilee Ministry Center

The designation as a Jubilee Center is a national honor which recognizes

the efforts of the church in its outreach work in the community. Trinity

Church has an on-going association with the Community Soup Kitchen,

Torrington Community Gardens, Operation Overflow, Covenant to Care,

Literacy Volunteers, Hispanic Youth Groups and Joyful Noise.

Trinity is a Stephen Ministry Church

Stephen Ministry is a nationwide program where laypersons

serve as Christian care givers and counselors.
